Description
THE BEATLES LET IT BE LP, This copy is a 1973 GERMAN Pressing on APPLE RECORDS. It was originally released in 1970. It was the 12th and last LP by The Beatles. Many of the tracks were recorded live from the rooftop concert, and remixed by Phil Spector. The band was in turmoil at this point, and John had left the band before it was even released. The songs are great, and without the live performance, it's possible these songs would have never been recorded. The contribution from Billy Preston is also great, and especially on Get Back.
This copy is outstanding. The VINYL has full gloss, and looks and plays almost as new all around. The sound of the vinyl is just great. It's a beautiful warm sounding copy. I'm always a fan of the German pressings. They did such a great job compared with the US pressings. The cover is in VG+ CONDITION with great colors front and back. The spine and seams show some slight wear. There's some small hairline bends emanating from the spine, and some handling that's typical of the more flimsy European covers. The LP looks almost unplayed. A miracle for a vintage Beatles LP. When does anyone see a Beatles LP that's pushing 50 years old that looks unplayed? A beautiful warm sounding play in incredible condition.
