VERY RARE LAST CROSSOVER 1969 UK STEREO YELLOW /BLACK PARLOPHONE LABELS
RELEASED IN SMALL QUANTITIES DUE TO PARLOPHONE / EMI NOW WANTING TO " MODERNISE" THEIR LABEL FORMAT TO THE BLACK AND SILVER EMI FORMAT
PENULTIMATE LAST YELLOW AND BLACK STEREO PRESS BEFORE THE SILVER AND BLACK ONE BOX EMI PRESSING.
Eigth Pressings (1969)
The standard yellow block writing Parlophone label. The "All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label starts with "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." The label does NOT have "Sold in the U.K..." statement.
The word stereo on the front cover is smaller.
No "Recording first published 1964" statement
LOVELY RARE SMALL STEREO SLEEVE, GLOSSY (FRONT AND BACK) CONDITION OF THIS 49 YEAR OLD CLASSIC !!!
The Vinyl also grades as EXCELLENT PLUS
small sleeve removal marks, and a couple of non feel able hairlines under a strong light, superb glossy rainbow finish obviously only been played a few times
labels are Near MINT
one or two spindle lines visible again only under a strong light !!!!!
