Description

The Beatles Please Please Me 1965 3042 Parlophone Stereo Fifth Edition U.K. pressing.
Edge of label starts with "The Gramophone Co Ltd". Label have "Recording first published 1963". Standard block lettering. No spindle wear.
Both sides of record shows very light hair line scratches  VG+. Matrix numbers: Side one AT                            Side two AM Side one YEX 94-1 Side two  YEX 95-1

Front cover is bright and glossy with bumped corners. A few small creases on left hand corner area. Rear cover shows slight record ring in left hand area only and there is some smudging. Emitex rice paper dust sleeve.

These Parlophone early LP's show a very high quality of design and production. The front cover is very glossy and  produced with heavy cardboard.
The Label is beautiful and the vinyl is heavy and thick.
This difference in quality between U.S. first productions like the VJ "Indroducing the Beatles" and this U.K. "Please Please Me" is quite apparent.
