Description
PCS 3042 on Parlophone label. 1963 THE BEATLES third press STEREO album with small 331/3 beside the (YEX.94) "PLEASE PLEASE ME". Tracks are: I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Anna (Go To Him), Chains, Boys, Ask Me Why, Please Please Me, Love Me Do, P.S. I Love You, Baby It's You, Do You Want To Know A Secret, A Taste Of Honey, There's A Place, Wtist And Shout.
Matrix numbers are: YEX 94-1 and YEX 95-1. Mothers and stampers are: SIDE 1: 1 P SIDE 2: 1 G.
This terrific album is VISUALLY in very good condition. The vinyl shines absolutely beautifully and has just light hairline surface marks. There are no scratches. SOUND: The album plays as superb excellent plus to near mint with literally no background noise at all. Fabulous clear sound with literally no noise in between tracks. Really fine. The labels show just four very small and ever so light spindle marks and have no damage to or around the spindle holes at all. The labels are beautifully clean and have no writing or marks.
The Ernest .J. Day & CO laminated cover with Angus McBean on the very bottom right corner and with flip over flaps is in poor condition. The back has two residue marks from tape on the top and two on the bottom. The front has no crushing to the spine and no fraying along the opening edges but there are four cuts which have been fairly neatly repaired over the front. You can see the cut lines but these are all stuck down. The cuts seem to have been on the actual laminate/picture and not through the actual card. There are some neat seam splits to the top and bottom edges.
Great and extremely rare album.

I MAKE NO MONEY FROM MY POSTAL CHARGES. I pack with strong card and the records are taken out of their sleeves and placed in polythene record covers. If more than three LP’s are bought, these will automatically be sent in a strong cruciform box.
I go to the post office every two days but please allow at least 10 days before asking where your parcel is. It will have been sent but I am unable to say how long Royal Mail will take to deliver.
