Description

The Beatles Please Please Me 3rd Pressing with the extra little 33 1/3 near the center hole.

This is the "infamous" 3rd Press, or 1st Yellow & Black Parlophone Label.

These elusive labels are even rarer than the "Northern Songs" Golds, and for many years went unnoticed till very recently. You'll see 10 Gold Stereo's on eBay before 1 of these pop up.

Conservatively graded at VG-, this is very very hard to get in mint, and prices have varied from £2500 to £6000 for a real stunner.

Outer Sleeve is also a very rare Gold Stereo cover, which is correct for this pressing as these were very early and were on sale at the time as the Stereo Gold's!

The 1G stamper is also very sort after as these are usually the property of the Stereo Gold.

Vinyl plays very well despite several light scratches and a couple non sounding needle marks here and there with no sticks or jumps. Graded at VG

Priced at a conservative £3000 in the 2018 Rare Record Guide and at No.13 in the 200 all time rare records (Rare Record Price Guide/Mag 2016) just after the Stereo Golds!.

Comes complete with the correct Patents Pending EMITEX inner sleeve.

Listing as a quick buy now with a very keen price, so shouldn't hang around for long.
Never seen one for less than £500!
