Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Revolver' 1966 FIRST PRESS STEREO Parlophone vinyl LP!
This particular pressing is a first press stereo Parlophone record from 1966. A stereo copy of a mid-sixties Beatles album is considered to be much rarer than an original mono copy as the demand for stereo records was very low at the time! Most of them had to be specially ordered through local record shops! A rare pressing - DO NOT MISS OUT!!!

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - first thing to mention about this LP is that it does have a SLIGHT warp...it sounds much worse than it is. It has a couple of feelable marks, particularly towards the end of Eleanor Rigby. These do cause some skips towards the end. Still retains a nice gloss and shine. Rated as VERY GOOD-. Label is VERY GOOD+.                       Side 2 - this side also has a few marks but they are much much lighter and barely feelable. I've play-tested them and they DO NOT skip or jump on my system! Slight pops. There is also a heat patch on the dead wax of the run-out groove - does not affect the grooves that contain music!! Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD+.


Audio: I have play-tested the first track on Side 1 and the first track on Side 2 ONLY!! (apart from the tracks mentioned above)
Side 1, track 1 - slight crackle on the run-in. Once the punchy audio starts, it becomes more of a background thing - a deep clean will help! The bass is incredibly rich and the highs are nice and crisp! All instruments and vocals can be heard clearly so no issues here. NO skips, jumps or sticks! Rated as VERY GOOD+! 
Side 2, track 1 - slight background crackle on the run-in, similar story to Side 1 so no major issues. Again, the audio is VERY punchy with lots of warmth and great crisp highs! Rates as VERY GOOD+! 
I believe that the rest of the album will play at least VERY GOOD but DO NOT take this as a guarantee - it is just a guess as I have not play tested this in its entirety. 

Inner Sleeve: The original EMITEX inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition! It has NO SPLITS, NO RIPS and NO TEARS!! Has retained a nice colour and is nice and crisp with a few creases.

Sleeve: The original STEREO flipback sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition! The front has a wonderful gloss and shine! There is some laminate creasing towards the edges but all edges are intact! If it wasnt for the few creases and slight discolouration to the bottom left corner, I'd probably rate it as at least EX-! The rear of the sleeve is nice and clean with tightly held down flipbacks that are clean and have a few creases towards the spine edge. The spine is 100% readable with light discolouration and a few creases that don't affect it too much. Overall, a lovely glossy sleeve that houses the record superbly!
