Description
You are bidding on a highly-desirable pressing of The Beatles' all-time classic, "Rubber Soul." Capitol ST-2442.
The RARE "Michelle" sticker is perfectly clean, fully attached to the shrink, and centered appropriately in the midle of the cover above their heads. This is a highly-desirable Capitol rainbow label with matrices of A1/A5. A very nice copy that will look terrific in any collection!
Cover: Overall NM-
The cover is very beautiful for nearly a 50-year-old album. No ringwear whatsoever. Shrink is very tight and intact other than a small area of shrink missing from the front lower right of the cover that does not affect the integrity of the shrink. Colors of the front cover are very vibrant. The back cover is very clean when most copies are often soiled and with ringwear. Many would rate this solid NM or higher, and the only imperfection is the lower right corner is a little weak. I'm a harsher grader than most, but this is a copy that you will be happy with.
Vinyl: Overall VG++ to NM-, playgraded as NM
The vinyl retains beautiful gloss and shine. There is no warping and this plays terrific. Playgraded as NM. The labels have kept terrific color, and have some spindle marks. There are no scratches or scuffs. There are just a couple of very minimal and superficial marks that do not affect overall play. Many would rate this as Mint Minus.
Matrices: Side One - "ST1 - 2442 - A1;" Side 2 - "ST1 - 2442 - A5"
This comes from a nonsmoking, pet-free, and climate-controlled home.

My grading scale: M, NM, VG++, VG+, VG, G...I tend to grade conservatively and try to be as honest as possible.
- Mint = sealed, brand new
- NM = used top copy, beautiful that looks like new
- VG++ = terrific clean cover, vinyl should play at a high level
- VG+ = reasonable copy - clean cover, vinyl that should play well
- VG = shows wear that will likely play with occasional pops, skips, noise
- Good = often has multiple scratches, do not expect to play well
