THE BEATLES - Rubber Soul DUTCH MONO LP Original Dutch mono pressing on the Parlophone label from 1965 (PMC 1267) Original 1st pressing 1965 from Holland. Matrix: XEX 579-1 & XEX 580-1
The laminated flipback and the record are in EX condition.
Wow! Here we have a very rare Dutch 1st pressing Loud Cut indicated by the matrix numbers. It also comes in Dutch flipback sleeve wich is different to the UK version. The Uk version has a text printed on the bottom flipback ( 6512 LL Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London PMC 1267 PCS 3075 ) the Dutch version has no text on the flipback. The Dutch version has a pinched spine, the Uk version not. On the UK version the text on the back at the right hand corner just under the flipback, has 2 lines of text: "mono PMC" at the first line and "Available in Stereo No: PCS 3075 1267". The text on the Dutch version is only 1 line of text: "Available in Stereo No: PCS 3075 mono PMC 1267. These were the last types of UK imported Garrod & Lofthouse sleeves, slightly different to the UK ones because of the duo-flipback instead of the tri-flipback sleeves. This Dutch version is 100% original and much much harder to find than the UK version.
