Description

As follows:
Parlophone PCS 7067.
The Beatles - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Original UK Parlophone Yellow and Black, First Stereo Press, 1967.
Features 'Sold In The UK' above the spindle hole, and 'The Gramophone' rim Text.
The Stereo Pressing is a lot more scarce than the Mono Pressing for the original 1967 issues,  and the mix is quite contrasting to the Mono, some of the lead vocals are quieter and seems to be more focus on the background instrumentation
Matrix Numbers:
YEX 637-1. YEX 638-1.
There are a few visible light scuffs and hairlines to the vinyl surfaces, but nothing deep, and it plays very well, no skips or jumps, and is described as follows:
Condition Vinyl:  VG+/VG+
Fully Play Tested.
Side One plays with three audible pops through 'A Little Help From My Friends', and isolated passages of crackle mainly at run in and outs and between the tracks.
Side Two features eight pops during intro to 'With You Without You', and another sequence of lighter ticks during the Sitar music near the end of the same track. Two pops are audible at the beginning of 'Rita', the rest of the side plays well, with minimal audible issues.
There is some spindle wear to the labels, especially around the aperture, but they are still in nice shape.
It may be possible to reduce or eliminate some of these noises with a deep clean, using a Moth machine, or similar.
The LP was played on a Rega Deck, with 1.5g arm weight.
Condition Sleeve: VG+
Some edge and spine wear, light creasing and opening edge wear. Minor corner wear also. See photos for condition.
The LP is housed in an EMI advertising inner, which is from the same era, but may not be original, as many first issues came with the red and white 'fool' inner.
Also comes with the cut out insert in Excellent condition.
