THE BEATLES VS THE FOUR SEASONS

Original 100% authentic incredibly rare two record set copy of The International Battle of the Century: The Beatles vs The Four Seasons, Mono Version, factory sealed in an original "Sealed For Your Protection, To Keep Clean Fresh and Brand New" protective distributor baggy. Heavy weight issue 580 g. The back cover displays Score Cards and the gatefold interior contains the Biographies of the band members. The baggy has a price "$4.98" seal at the top right corner of the front cover, along with a Gimbels price tag on the top of it. This rare issue comes with an original fold-out Vee-Jay promotional poster advertised on the front cover as a "Full Color Beatles Picture Suitable For Framing. (Please see the last two photos of the listing, taken from our previous auction) Even though Vee-Jay indicated the size of the poster ("picture") as 8" x 15", its actual size is bigger, 11½" X 23". This original 1st pressing contains two records, "Introducing the Beatles" as the first record and "The Golden Hits of The Four Seasons" as the second record. The baggy and cover are very clean, without any ring wear, soiling or writing. The baggy has a very light split at the top right corner with the cover having a light hint of splitting and wear. The corners (except for the top right corner) contain a light bumping with the bottom corners having some light wear. The spine is rigid with the indicated Mono "DX 30" catalog number. I don't know when you'll be able to come across a sealed copy of this album next time, if ever, considering that they are extremely scarce with only few sealed copies left in the private collections. If this is so, you'll be only left to wait if one of the collectors decides to sell his copy, like in this case.

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting.
