“The Beatles Vs. Four Seasons”

THE BEATLES VS. FOUR SEASONS

Original incredibly rare two record set copy of The International Battle of the Century: The Beatles vs The Four Seasons, Stereo Version. The cover is still in its original loose-fitting distributor protective 'Sears Roebuck and Co.' baggy with the orange Sears logo in the opposite corners. The back cover displays Score Cards and the gatefold interior contains the Biographies of the band members. The right bottom corner of the front cover has an original very rare orange "Stereo" sticker. This rare issue comes with the original record store hard cardboard 24.5' x 12' Vee-Jay promotional poster. The cover is very clean with the minimal signs of ring wear. All of the colors, including the gatefold interior, are vivid and bright. Some light creasing at the top right corner of the front cover and top left of the back cover, very light bending to the top right corner. Very light occasional edge and corner wear. The spine is missing two small pieces, at the top and bottom, with a fully readable text on the rigid spine. (Please see the photo). Light discoloration at the bottom center of the well preserved gatefold interior. The cover doesn’t contain any writing, peel-off marks or soiling. Very hard to find such a clean fresh copy of this rare pressing. The Sears baggy doesn’t have any splits or tears. The album comes with two original red background Vee-Jay "The Greatest Gospel Sound On Record Is On Vee-Jay Records" inner sleeves with 25 color photos of other albums on the Vee-Jay record label on each side of the sleeve. Used on Introducing The Beatles Version One and early pressings of Version Two. The inner sleeves are in great shape, very clean and vivid. Only one of the inner sleeves have a light split at the bottom.

Introducing the Beatles - Original first print colorband Vee Jay VJLP 1062 catalog number 2'75 diameter deep groove pressing ring black print brackets VJ logo with "Stereo" banner above it in the center, 'Long Playing' 'Microgroove', multicolored spectrum ('rainbow') band along the label's edge and brackets version logo (The Vee Jay logo inside the brackets). First withdrawn track lineup of "Introducing The Beatles" which includes 'Love Me Do' and 'P.S. I Love You'. Unique variation label with the centered song titles. Original 1st US Stereo release "American Record Pressing Co.," Owosso, Michigan record plant pressing with the 'ARP' logo stamped in italics into the runout on both sides. Original thick, heavy, glossy vinyl pressing with the very early first matrix -1A / - 1A numbers in the trail-off vinyl (dead wax). The vinyl also contains a date "1-24-64" stamp, machine "AudioMatrix" stamp and "S" suffix, identifying the issue format as Stereo. The full matrix numbers are as follows:  Side 1: 63-3402-1 URJ 1A 1-24-64 ARP AudioMatrix S Side 2: 63-3403-1 URJ 1A 1-24-64 ARP AudioMatrix S. The vinyl contains some light surface marks and scuffs from the inner sleeve with the vivid clean labels, having some light scuffing. (Please see the photo)

The Golden Hits of The Four Seasons - Original first print colorband Vee Jay VJLP 1062 catalog number 2'75 diameter pressing ring black print brackets VJ logo with "Stereo" banner above it in the center, 'Long Playing' 'Microgroove', multicolored spectrum ('rainbow') band along the label's edge and brackets version logo (The Vee Jay logo inside the brackets). Original thick, heavy, glossy vinyl pressing with the very early first matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl (dead wax). The vinyl also contains a date "8/28/63" stamp and machine "AudioMatrix" stamp. The full matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1: 63-3408 8/28/63 A RA AudioMatrix Side 2: 63-3409 8/28/63 A RA AudioMatrix. Glossy vinyl with a few light surface marks and scuffs from the inner sleeve. Side 2 label has a factory defect. When the label was being applied to the vinyl, a 1/10 label piece of colorband got neatly wrapped up inside, without affecting any part of the text. The contour of the wrapped up piece is still seen under a certain angle. I’ve never seen such a unique defect before, making this copy special.

POLICY:

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid. Unfortunately, I don't ship to Germany or Russia. I apologize to the buyers from these countries in advance.
