Description
This auction is for the White Album by the Beatles. This has the original top-opening cover, original black inner sleeves and the labels all have the 'Sold in the UK' text. The labels on disk one don't have the EMI text.
Here are the matrix numbers:
Side 1: YEX 709-1
Side 2: YEX 710-1
Side 3: YEX 711-1
Side 4: YEX 712-1
There are some scratches on the vinyl and various scuffs and marks. Disk one has more than disk two and side two has more than side one, but it all looks like it should play okay, although there will be some crackle, clicks and pops etc, as you might expect for a record of this age. Based on the UK Record Collector Grading System I would say that the vinyl should be graded as Good. (I have not played them).
The cover has lots of signs of age after 47 years, with some discolouration, stains, creases, scuffs, wear etc and a crack down the centre of the spine, but the card is quite heavy/rigid and the cover still does the job.
The original black inner sleeves have scruffy openings, creases, seam splits, tears around the holes etc, etc.
