** GOOD CLEAN 1970's UK PRESSING OF CLASSIC BEATLES "WHITE ALBUM" VINYL DOUBLE-LP, WITH SET OF ALL FOUR PHOTOS, AND POSTER **

Excellent- condition discs. Several very minor hairline marks where the records have been taken out of their sleeves over the years, most of which can only be seen under a very strong light. A couple of light surface marks on Side 3 and Side 4 - otherwise these discs are very clean. Bright lustrous shiny vinyl on both discs. No spindle marks. Very clean labels on both sides. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, sticking, deep scratches, or writing on labels.

Very good sound quality throughout, with only occasional minor surface noise in places. This remains a very listenable LP. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Fully laminated gatefold sleeve, inside and out, with no flipbacks. "The BEATLES" in embossed text. No numbering. Side openings. "Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse International Ltd." Very little general wear. Minor creasing to bottom left corner. No seam splits. No wear to opening edges. No writing anywhere. Spine in excellent condition with all text still clearly legible.

All four glossy Photos are original, and in crisp Near Mint condition. Never used - always stored in record sleeve. No rips, tears, creasing or writing anywhere.

Poster in Excellent condition. Never used, so no tape or pinholes anywhere. Very little wear. No creasing, (apart from original factory folding to get it into the sleeve), No rips or tears. No writing anywhere.

Both inner sleeves are the original EMI white sleeves. Both are in Very Good condition, with no writing anywhere and no seam splits, but both have some age-related discolouration.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
