Condition:
Sleeve: VERY GOOD+ : "Garrod & Lofthouse" laminated "flipback" sleeve. There is some light creasing to the laminate to be found around all edges, and light damage to bottom right corner. All flipback seams are intact.
Note that the original EMITEX inner sleeve is present and in clean condition, although has some fraying along top edge, and both sides show 5cm splits.
Record: VERY GOOD+ : A good heavy vinyl, showing one or two very light surface scuffs and hairlines - but none of these have any adverse effect on playback. Labels are good, clean and bright, with avaerage spindle wear for its age. Overall a really great example of a 48 year old original vinyl record.
Checked for sound quality and it plays very well indeed, with that distinctive "Mono" quality only found on original vinyls. No skips, pops or jumps.
[Item Ref: Beatles/16]
A CLASSIC PIECE OF 1963 VINYL HISTORY THAT WOULD GRACE ANY COLLECTION.

I try to accurately describe the condition as per The Record Collector's Guide's parameters:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or unplayed should be mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have some slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
