Vinyl- Excellent+
Vinyl has a lovely sheen with some very fine scuffs on side 1, like light hairlines, but they are non-feelable. Otherwise, just some wispy sleeve removal lines.
Audio – Excellent+
Audio is clean, bright and distortion free. There is some background noise on run in/run off, otherwise, just the most minimal background noise between tracks. Beautiful sounding vinyl. Hard to find a better sounding copy.
Labels– Excellent+
Labels are in beautiful condition with just some minimal spindle wear to each side. No tears, stickers or writing.Rim text starts "The Parlophone Co. Ltd.." Without the "Sold in the UK…" text across the centre, has KT stamp to Side 2. Money has the Dominion publishing credit.
Sleeve– Excellent+
Garrod & Lofthouse ‘patents pending’ sleeve retains lovely sheen to the front cover with just a few thumbnail creases towards the opening edge. Minimal stoarge wear to top corners. Rear cover is very clean with external flipbacks showing a little dirt build up. Otherwise, just light age discolouration towards the opening edge. Spine is very clean and fully readable.
Inner Sleeve– Excellent+
The original, poly-lined, Emitex inner sleeve is in beautiful condition just very light creasing and a little age discolouration
OVERALL, A LOVELY EARLY MONO UK PRESSING
