Original 1st pressing of Introducing...The Beatles version 2, containing the very early 1st A1/A1 matrix numbers. This is the first album of The Beatles in the US, released in January 1964, with the corrected version released in February, by Vee Jay Records. Original authentic thick cardboard high quality print glossy slick single type paste over two column titles back cover. Rare cover variation with the "PLEASE PLEASE ME" track not containing a comma. The cover is still in its original loose-fitting protective "Sears Roebuck And Co.' baggy with the red Sears logo in opposite corners. Original 1st print 2.75' pressing ring, color band, Vee-Jay VJLP 1062 catalog number, "Microgroove" and "Long Playing" banner along with a large Vee-Jay brackets logo and left-justified song titles and credits. Original thick heavy plate, approximately 176g, glossy vinyl pressing with the very early 1st matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl. The full matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1: 63-3403-1 URJ I I A1 B AudioMatrix 2-12-64 ARC 484 / Side 2: 63-3402-1 URJ A1 AudioMatrix 2-12-64 ARC 3254. The vinyl contains the "AudioMatrix" stamp, the identifier of AudioMatrix Inc., New York, along with a handwritten manufacture date stamp "2-12-64" on both sides in the trail-off vinyl, and "URJ" stamp in the dead wax, identifying this pressing as a Universal Recording Studios mastering. Incredibly rare issue pressed and manufactured at the Southern Plastics Pressing Plant in Nashville, Tennessee. Red background Vee-Jay Records inner sleeve with 30 color photos of other Vee-Jay releases on each side.

CONDITION:

COVER - EXCELLENT (EX) Very clean cover with only a slight hint of ring wear at the bottom on the front. The cover doesn't have any splits, only containing some very light corner wear.

VINYL: SIDE 1 - EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) / SIDE 2 - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) Side 1 would be graded as NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) as well, if it wasn't due to the two very light small surface marks, which can't be felt with a finger nail and don't affect the playback.

LABELS: EXCELLENT (EX) Very clean scuff-free labels contain only a few very light spindle marks, visible under a strong light source.

VEE-JAY RECORD INNER SLEEVE - EXCELLENT (EX) The inner sleeve is in great shape, only having a light, barely noticeable tear at the top.

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS! USPS can no longer accept or deliver international mail temporary to several countries due to the service impacts. Please check whether your country is on the list of temporary service and guaranteed-delivery suspensions. Additionally, please take into consideration that the disruption of air mail schedule causes significant delays, which affect the expected delivery date declared by eBay and USPS. From our side, we guarantee the prompt shipping of the item within 24 hours after receiving payment.

Please pay attention that we DON'T ship to Russia and Germany. No exceptions. We'll immediately cancel the transaction if our policy conditions are violated. Sorry about that.

POLICY:

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid.
