Description
This is a nice first press copy of The Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour" double EP from 1967, SMMT-1. The cover is in EXCELLENT condition, the laminate is still nice and glossy, there is a tiny piece of laminate worn away on the top left edge front and correspondingly the top edge right back. Otherwise a very nice cover, very clean and intact book which also includes the blue lyric sheet. The discs, which come in their original wavy top plain white inners, are also in EXCELLENT CONDITION. Very clean, glossy vinyl. It has just a few light marks on one side of the vinyl(which don't affect playback at all), the other 3 sides have no imperfections to speak of. All four sides play beautifully, a little static crackle between tracks but otherwise nothing that interferes with the music at all. I played it earlier today and because I usually listen to the mono version, had forgotten how good this first press stereo version can sound. All round a very nice copy of this classic EP.
I have been a collector for any years and a now selling most of my vinyl to fund a change of career. All records are thoroughly cleaned on my ClearAudio Smart Matrix machine and then carefully played on a Rega Planar 3 deck with Goldring cartridge. I use strict RC gradings with plus and minus to indicate variation and all records are sent out in professional mailers. I offer a full refund minus return postage should you not be satisfied with how I've graded a record.
