Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years.
I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.
I am happy to post any where in the world, but only if the buyer is willing to pay for it to be fully insured and tracked in some way. I only use cruciform mailers with double stiffeners and 'bubble wrap'.
This item is extremely rare and valuable, therefore I will only post it out fully insured and recorded delivery/signed for.
SO HERE WE GO.......
For sale here is --THE BEATLES--SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND-- UK ORIGINAL FIRST MONO PRESSING. 1967, MONO.
YELLOW ON BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL PMC 7027
SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and LAMINATED. The delicate laminated surfaces ARE THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. It is in GREAT condition showing ALMOST NO WEAR. . It is very flat and square. The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. The edges are MINT. The front is N/MINT with NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS , NO STAINING, NO LAMINATE LIFT, AND NO SURFACE RUB . The rear is in the same wonderful N/MINT condition with NO RING WEAR. The inner gatefold shows the correct 'FLIP BACKS' along the top edge (only on the 1st pressings) and is in almost MINT condition just the usual crack in the lamination near the spine which is minimal other wise it looks as new. The opening edges are in lovely MINT condition with no tears and no feathering. The spine is the very rare 'WIDE SPINE' (about 8mm) with perfectly clear information. There is a tiny amont of wear to the very tips of the corners and a small 'dink' to the bottom edge of the spine (very minor). This album comes with it's ORIGINAL 'FLAME RED' INNER SLEEVE IN TOP CONDITION WITH NO SEEM SPLITS, just a little foxing. The ever so important 'CUT-OUT CARD' is present and is in WONDERFUL UN-USED condition, all that keeps this from a full MINT grading is a very light crease to the top right it looks AS NEW. All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 44 YEARS OLD sleeve. EX++....STUNNING. YOU WILL FIND IT HARD TO BETTER THIS ONE.
LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, staining, stickers, residue or tears. there are only 1 or 2 spindle marks. N/MINT
VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see VERY FEW, VERY LIGHT surface hair lines which were caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty scratches. There is a small mark on Side 1 at the start of track .5 (fixing the hole) which causes light clicking for the first few seconds of the track. other than that side 1 plays in superb EX+ condition. Side 2 plays without any clicks or jumps. There is a small mark on track 1 but this is silent during playback. In normal daylight this album is N/MINT. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all. There are VERY FEW dust crackles that can be heard only in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out that. These HEAVY VINYL original pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . EX+, N/MINT. WONDERFUL!
MATRIX NUMBERS/ STAMPERS..... SIDE .1 XEX 637 - 1 2 MD
