Records: EX
All 4 sides are clean and glossy.
Of course its a 52yr old record that will have been played but I can say this record hasn’t had a huge amount of play and has been looked after.
Side 1: EX
has a couple of wispy hairlines but this is minimal. One area has 4 very small marks a couple of mm across in track two. They are tiny and are barely penetrating the vinyl, you can just ever so slightly feel them gently with your nail but when we have play tested the record we haven’t picked up and skips, jumps or surface noise.
Wanting to describe the record as honestly as possible to give the truest representation.
Side 2: EX
Clean surface. A few light wispy hairlines but again this is minimal. A nice, tidy surface.
No penetrating marks.
Side 3: EX
Clean surface. A few small surface marks under light but no penetrating or unsightly marks.
Side 4: EX-
I’d say this side has the most surface marking of the 4 but it is purely light surface marking under direct light. Its a clean surface, no marks that affect play or penetrate the surface, just a few minimal light surface marks.
All labels are clean. No pen or marking... a little surface spindle marking under light but again this is minimal.
Inner sleeves: black inner sleeves to both records with die-cut centre.
Both sleeves are straight overall - VG+
Some edge wear, a little split to bottom of both sleeves and a little wear to centre die-cut circle-
Abit of creasing but both sleeves hold the records and protect them well. Not too tatty at all but not minters. See pictures.
Sleeve: EX
Mono sleeve.
Original Top Loader.
Grey printed number on slight angle to lower right corner:
No. 0061834
Embossed ‘The Beatles’
Fully laminated
Blank back
12 rows of grey text listing tracks to inner alongside 4 black and white images of John, paul, george and ringo.
A nice tidy sleeve. A little corner/ edge wear but this is minimal.
Spine is good and readable.
No splits/ tears.
Laminate is really good. No visible lift or damage.
A little ring wear/ surface marking but a very nice, presentable sleeve. Quite impressed with it!
Lyric poster: EX
A clean and straight poster.
A little light fuzzing of paper along creases and a couple of small, under 1cm splits.
A little surface mark or two but its a good tidy poster.
4 photo inserts: EX+
Lovely clean straight inserts.
