THE CITY “Now That Everything's Been Said” orig Canadian Columbia "360" label M-!

1968/Cdn/Columbia ELS 336…..here’s a clean original pressing of Carole King’s early effort pre Tapestry. The cover is in solid Excellent condition, the corners have been lightly bumped/creased and there is light corner wear, tiny drill hole lower left corner that only penetrates the front cover, otherwise clean and sharp with no splits or other issues. The vinyl is in strong ex to M- condition with minor light storage staining. The record plays clean with slight noise between track and plays with clean fidelity! A very clean original Canadian pressing of this lp  with the original full color cover. Please check my auctions for other rock, and psych lp’s. Good Luck and thanks for looking!

Gerry Goffin and Carole King, even in 1968 were already established songwriters, but it wasn't until Carole's 1971 classic "Tapestry" release that she came to be fully recognised as one of the great American singer/songwriters. In 1968, Carole King and her then husband Charles Larkey, formed the short lived The City, with Danny Kortchmar on guitar and vocals, and Jim Gordon on drums. "Now That Everything's Been Said" was originally issued as a limited edition album in 1968 by Ode records. It's an excellent album with some terrific songs. "Snow Queen" is a beautifully written track. "That Old Sweet Roll (Hi De Ho)", was covered, by the Byrds and Blood, Sweat And Tears, and is also a great song. Danny Kortchmar sings "A Man Without a Dream" and "Sweet Home" on this album, which really hasn't a dud track.

MINT: as stated with no defects

M- OR NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.
