Description
Here's a UK (England) copy of the debut LP by 'the only band that matters', The Clash. GREAT ALBUM! Includes the classics 'Police and Thieves', 'Janie Jones' 'White Riot' and 'London's Burning'". This has all the signs of a first edition: the yellow orange label, CBS Records 82000, England copy, 'stereo' in the 9 o'clock postion, and the sleeve with patent number on it, along with 2 'xerox' lyric inserts. It is an A5/B4 in the matrix, not B3, so it might be a 2nd edition, I am not sure. Early print, if not first edition. The vinyl is in great shape, barely a mark, and great coloring! The cover is typical light cardstock from the UK, and their are a few very minor wrinkles because of the light manufacturing material, NO SPLITTING, with just some bumping on the corners, a very legible spine as well. This LP is in GREAT all around shape, don't miss this rare piece of punk history! Please see all photos before bidding, and be sure to check out our store full of familiar and hard to find / rare vinyl, books, and more.
