Description

The Cure, The Head On The Door
Original 1985 UK Fiction Records vinyl LP with lyric inner, FIXH 11. A3/B3 matrices, the earliest known for this issue.

Vinyl still glossy but with some quite visible scuffs and areas of greyish patina. Whilst these areas don't look great they are inherent in the press and don't cause any obvious background noise. There is some occasional very low level crackle to the dead wax/separator bands but the tracks all play very cleanly with no obvious background noise. There is some light scuffing to the B side run-in and intro of B1 but this is confined to no more than a second or two before the volume kicks in.
Labels are clean and undefaced.
Lyric inner sleeve has some light overall creasing and disc impression creasing. A few fairly unobtrusive almost translucent stains. No splits.
External sleeve top end VG. Overall clean and unmarked. Just a little wear to edges and tips. Some ringwear impression front and rear, not too heavy. A fairly large number of light hairline impressions.
