THE DOORS STRANGE DAYS 1967 ELEKTRA EKL-4014

COVER - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-)
VINYL - VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)

This copy of the 2nd The Doors' album Strange Days recorded in Los Angeles and released in October of 1967. The vinyl was pressed at Columbia Records, Terre Haute pressing plant and contains the 1st issue gold Elektra Records labels with the EKL-4014 catalog number on both sides. The cover remains in the original shrink wrap with breathe holes without any splits, tears or wear. The album comes with the original custom The Doors Strange Days black & white inner sleeve with a photo of the band on the front side and lyrics with credits on the back cover. Very rare early 1st print issue cover with a misprint on the spine mistakengly identifying the copy as Stereo "EKS-74014", "EKL-4014 (mono)" is indicated on the front and back cover. I grade the shiny vinyl as Very Good Plus as it has some insignificant hairlines and marks, but nothing serious.
