Description
DEMO DELIGHTS - Part of my collection being offered over the coming months.
Please make sure you're happy with the shipping costs before bidding. Due to past claims for non delivery, I will now only ship by secure "Signed For" service in line with eBay recommended policy with tracking number provided for peace of mind. Please be mindful of this when leaving feedback. Thank you for your understanding.
Issued during 1961, here's a very decent copy of a rare original UK white and red demo of this great tune featuring the voice of a young Len Barry from THE DOVELLS with "BRISTOL STOMP" on the UK COLUMBIA imprint # 45-DB 4718 and backed with "OUT IN THE COLD AGAIN".
This copy has the 4-prong centre intact and plays perfectly throughout with good audible quality and remains in a strong very good plus condition with light but visible surface sleeve rubs not affecting play and with very light crackle on the run-in and run-out groove and actually playing as excellent plus. The labels are clean on both sides with a radio station written annotation on the 'A' side indicating the release date and with moderate signs of spindle wear along with some storage rubs from adjoining sleeves leaving minor traces of blue in parts. Paired with an original company sleeve and still a very decent copy for the collector (see picture scans).
From my personal collection that I'm downsizing so why not check out my other listings for more great sounds.
The record will be shipped in a stiffened card outer by Royal Mail First Class Large Letter "Signed For" service only at a cost of £3.25 in the UK or, overseas by "Signed For" service at the costs indicated. This provides protection for both parties in the unlikely event of loss. After 4 years of holding my shipping costs and absorbing the annual Royal Mail price increase, following the latest 20p domestic increase effective from 25th March 2019, I reluctantly need to increase the amount charged to cover my costs.
Postage discounts available for multiple purchases with up to three 45's shipped at the single record rate. Please request total from seller and wait for invoice before making payment.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT FEEDBACK WILL ALWAYS BE LEFT BUT ONLY AFTER FIRST RECEIVING THE SAME.
