Description

This is an original, signed and numbered 3035 by Norman Granz 78 record and photo folio, " The Jazz Scene", recorded on Six 12" Mercury 78-RPM records.
The folio measures 12 1/2 X 15 inches and is spiral bound. It has many full page photographs of the jazz greats of the time and a nice double size fold out drawing by David Stone Martin. The exterior covers of the set have some very minor wear.

Text pages have varying degrees of age yellowing. I have pictured the worst of it. Photos are all in great condition, with the exception of the last two that have very minor moisture wear spots on the edge. The worst of this damage can be seen on the back of the final photo and the inside back cover (see picture).

All the records seem to be in excellent condition, with good shine and appear to have rarely been played, if at all.  The man I bought this from was surprised he even owned it as he was "never much of a jazz fan". The six records included in this set are:
