The Rolling Stones : Voodoo Lounge A1/B1/C1/D1 1st Press

I purchased a collection recently among which were a number of stunning Stones' records.  I have listed a number of them already and have graded each track individually.  Such is their quality there is no real need to do this but rest assured I will still listen to every track in full so as to provide a 'correct' grading and will state any imperfections even if minor.

This genuine first press plays with outstanding clarity and depth, warmth and richness that you only find on vinyls that have hardly been played.  The cover and inners are also in superb condition.

V 2750 // A - 1 / B - 1 / C - 1 / D - 1

The audio on S1, S2 & S3 is Mint(-)

The audio on S4 is Mint(-) (T3 Near Mint)

The gatefold is cover is Near Mint

The labels are Mint-

The lyric inners are Mint

Play grading

S1 plays with wonderful power and depth from the outset and the opening track 'Love Is Strong' can correctly be graded as Mint such is the precision of the audio.  The two other tracks on the side are of the same standard also.  'The Worst' on S2 has a very quiet intro of course and yet plays as close to perfect as is possible, just a couple of minor ticks.  The remainder is stunning with no 'background' at all.  It has that CD aesthetic quality but without the warmth and depth that vinyl brings.  The rest of the side plays with stunning sonic quality - the very quiet intro on 'Out Of Tears' provides a fine example of the clarity on offer here - not even a dust tick!  The playback is exceptional!

Every track on S3 plays with sublime clarity and the only 'background' is a static tick on the 'Brand New Car' fade out.  The classic 'Blinded By Rainbows' on S4 plays beautifully from start to finish with only a couple of light ticks - not clicks!  'Baby Break It Down' is faultless as is the long and very quiet opening section on 'Thru And Thru'. It just three brief static type sounds once the percussion comes in.  The rest of the track plays with stunning precision.  This is a superb first pressing and has clearly hardly ever been on a turntable!

Visual grading

The vinyls are in beautiful condition with no marks or scratches.  They have an immaculate glossy sheen and only a very small number of insignificant sleeve removal hairlines.  There is only very minimal spindle wear and have always been very carefully handled down the years.  Strange to think they are over 25 years old now!

The Cover & Inners

The gatefold is in great condition and the only wear is two small 'dings' on the top edges and a couple of small 'runs' on the top edge of the back cover.  The corners are near perfect and the opening edges have no wear at all.  The front cover is pristine and still has the original sticker and the back cover and inside are also in superb order.  The glossy lyric inners have no side splits, tears or creasing and remain in perfect condition.

Shipping costs to the US have increased recently so please wait for the invoice.  As an example I recently sent 3 LPs via tracked shipping and this cost just over £34.00 - packaging costs not included!
