Description

THE VELVET UNDERGROUND

RARE UNPEELED BANANA COVER! THIS IS THE RARE GATEFOLD COVER WITH A STICKER COVERING THE BANANA VERVE RECORDS - STEREO #V6-5008 Number in the trailoff dead wax: V6-5008 MGS-559-RE-1 The cover is in nice condition and is from my personal collection. The record has the original paper sleeve. The record looks very clean and shiny but has some background hiss in the quiet and a few pops and skips on 2 songs. All in all... a real rarity!

  • A wonderful find and a great album that you will be proud to make part of your collection!

  • International Bidders Please Note...  if an item reaches 40.00 we are shipping REGISTERED AIR MAIL only. Someone will have to sign for it upon delivery. Due to the recent high incidence of international Postal theft and a few unscrupulous buyers pretending that their item never arrived, we are forced into using REGISTERED AIR MAIL for expensive and rare items... no exceptions. Unfortunately, it's the only way we can track your items. REGISTERED AIR MAIL will run an additional $11.60 to ship.

International Bidders Please Note...  Ebay's new required statement...
    • • Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
    • • Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.”
