Description
THE VERVE, A Northern Soul
Double album
Hut Records HUTLP 27 1995
Matrix/ Run-out: HUTLP 27
A splendid example of this original first (and I believe only) pressing. It has had very little play and sleeve, inners and discs look great.
Sleeve and inners are near mint I think. Light scratches to the silverised cover here and there. Very lightest possible general handling wear; looks like new. Photographic liners are unmarked.
Discs are in excellent condition with only a few very light surface spider lines or marks and no noise or interference throughout EXCEPT for the following small flaw: a light 15mm scratch across 'History' (Track 1, Side1, Record 2). This does not cause general noise interference but does lead to a barely noticeable skip of approx half a second duration coming at 1minute 11secs in, which clips the last syllable of the word, 'understand', in the line, 'I hope you under[stand]'. I don't think this spoils enjoyment of the song but I have noted it in testing the whole album for auction. Apart from this, the record plays perfectly.
