On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Who called "Live At Leeds" and is a 1970 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Custom' Track labels!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST WHO LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE TRACK LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS INSERTS & 1ST PRESS 'MARQUEE' POSTER, WITH NONE MISSING!!!!

THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS A 'DAY OF RELEASE' 1ST PRESSING, AND HAS A 'WITHDRAWN' COLOUR ON THE COVER FRONT, THAT WAS NEVER EVER USED AGAIN!!!!  AS A 1ST PRESSING THIS LP HAS:-

1) A 'STAMPED' THE WHO - LIVE AT LEEDS TITLE ON THE COVER FRONT.  AS YOU CAN SEE FROM MY CLOSE UP PICTURES, YOU CAN SEE THE INK HAS 'BLED' INTO THE COVER FROM THE STAMPING AND IS NOT PRINTED!!!!  THE EDGES ARE ALL SLIGHTLY BLURRED FROM THE INK FROM THE STAMP SOAKING INTO THE COVER SURFACE!!!!  THIS IS ALSO WHY ON ALL 'DAY OF RELEASE' COPIES YOU OFTEN SEE THIS TITLE STAMP IN DIFFERENT PLACES - AS ONLY THE 1ST PRESS COVERS WERE 'HAND STAMPED'.  HOWEVER, TRACK QUICKLY DECIDED TO SAVE MONEY, AND ON ALL LATER COPIES THIS TITLE WAS PRINTED ON THE COVER INSTEAD - WITH NEAT DEFINED EDGES.

2) THE INNER SLEEVE HAS THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' DATE CODING - '0470' (APRIL 1970) WHICH ALL LATER COPIES DO NOT HAVE!!!!

3) THE TEXT ON THE INSIDE OF THE COVER IS BLACK (LATER COPIES ARE DIFFERENT!).

4) AND LASTLY THIS COLOUR FEATURES A UNIQUE COLOUR TYPE FOR 'DAY OF RELEASE' COPIES ONLY - AND IT WAS IMMEDIATELY WITHDRAWN!!!!  IN FACT, YOU SEE SO FEW OF THESE - THAT I FIRMLY BELIEVE THESE CAME BEFORE THE BLACK FRONTED COVERS, BECAUSE THEY ARE MOSTLY PRINTED AND NOT STAMPED!!!!  IN MY COMPARISON PICTURE YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT THE COLOUR IS DEFINITELY NOT RED, BUT IS ACTUALLY A DARK PINK INSTEAD!!!!  AND THE DIFFERENCE IS EXTREMELY NOTICEABLE - ESPECIALLY IF YOU PUT THE NORMAL 'RED' PRINTED COVER NEXT TO IT!!!!  THIS 'DAY OF RELEASE' 1ST PRESS 'STAMPED' DARK PINK COLOUR WAS WITHDRAWN EVEN BEFORE RELEASE - AND IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE RAREST POSSIBLE COLOUR TO EVER FIND ON THIS LP!!!!

SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE!!!!

ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK 'WITHDRAWN' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'CUSTOM' TRACK LABELS, 1ST PRESS FULL SET OF 12 INSERTS (INCLUDING THE 'MARQUEE' POSTER'!), 1ST PRESS '0470' DATE CODED INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'MacNEILL' GATEFOLD 'WITHDRAWN' COVER!!!!  THIS INCREDIBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the Track UK 1st Pressing from 1970 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is 2406 001 on the Track 'Custom' labels (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!  All the tracks are pure quality Who at their best!!!! Any fan of The Who, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED LOOK' AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press '0470' Date Coded inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE INSERTS & 'MARQUEE' POSTER ARE IN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME CONDITION (SEE PICTURES!) AND CLEARLY HAVENT EVER LEFT THE COVER!!!!  The ORIGINAL 'MacNeill' Gatefold 'Withdrawn' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO sticker tears, NO yellowing (apart from the usual touch to the spinal area!), NO sticker marks, only VERY slight spinal wear, NO spine splits, NO edge splits, only VERY slight corner wear, NO rips, NO tears, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, barely ANY yellowing AT ALL, and BOTH pouches on either side are in PERFECT condition with NO damage AT ALL!!!!  Even the staples are COMPLETELY UNSTRESSED and 100% firmly in place!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
