Augie Goupil, real name Auguste Goupil, is a Polynesian dancer and singer-songwriter, founder and main member of the group Augie Goupil And His Royal Tahitians. He was born on August 7, 1910 in Papeete, French Polynesia, and died on January 1, 1944 in Los Angeles, USA.
