This is the 'Black Square' issue of the band's EP:Tracks: Where's Bill Grundy NowPart Time Punks Happy Family At The Roundhouse The rear of the home-produced wraparound photocopied sleeve features a cheeky picture of The Beatles. The vinyl is in excellent condition, as is the cover. It was a review copy sent to the seller when he was a reviewer for a regional newspaper music column. It has been kept very carefully since release in 1979. (No label attributed, but is registered as King's Road / Lyn 5976/7. The Lyn numbers are etched in the run-out grooves.Together with the record, the sale includes a letter sent by the band to the reviewer. The letter, from the band's King's Road address at the time, is signed by John Treacy. The band's lead singer is listed as Dan Treacy, so this might be an alternate name or family member acting as manager or just helping the band with press enquiries.20% of the sale of this rare item will go to the DEC Ukraine fund. There is a reserve price; if not met, the lot will go to a specialist record auction.Mail out will be in a 'Covers 45' mailer with stiffener.
