Description
Up for auction is an Erika Records test pressing of Terriyaki Asthma Volume III. This was given to me by Daniel House one day when I was down at Sub Pop Headquarters. Released in 1990 on CZ Records, CZ-017. Features exclusive tracks by Babes In Toyland, L7, Frightwig and (my favorite) Dickless. Has K-Disc stamp in matrix area. Incredible M- to NEAR MINT condition. I’m the original owner and have played this a dozen times at most. I still own several of the standard commercial pressings so this one hasn’t been played very often.
This is a great, hot rocking female vocal led attack by four separate bands. The L7 cut is bonechilling, and if there ever was a punk princess, well Kelly Canary, was that. Dickless, a great band which amounted to just a flash in the pan. Granted Volume 1, is worth a great deal more money, but this release would be considered my personal favorite of all the many CZ Records releases.
