An den Aufnahmesessions zu diesem Album, im September 1968, nahmen auch Duane & Greg Allman teil, was aber auf dem Cover nicht erwähnt wird. Nach Auflösung von Hourglass suchten sie nach neuen musikalischen Wegen und bei diesen Sessions wurden, ebenfalls mit 31st Of February als Backing Band, Songs für ein Album der Allmans prodzuziert. Diese Aufnahmen erschienen aber erst 1972 auf Steve Alaimo’s Label

Bold Records (Bold  33-301) als Duane & Greg Allman. Nachdem das 31st Of February

Album nur in geringen Stückzahlen verkauft wurde, löste sich die Band auf.

Butch Trucks blieb mit Duane und Greg Allman zusammen und wurde Mitbegründer der Allman Brothers, Scott Boyer gründete die Band Cowboy und veröffentlichte später

auch Soloalben und Dave Brown ging zu Santana und spielte später auch in der

Band von Boz Scaggs.

  At the recording sessions for this album, in September 1968, Duane & Greg Allman was also invoved, but not mentioned on the cover. After the break-up of Hourglass they were looking for new musical paths and during these sessions, songs were also produced for an Allmans album, also with 31st Of February as backing band. But these recordings were years later released in 1972, on Steve Alaimo's label Bold Records (Bold 33-301) as Duane & Greg Allman.  After the 31st Of February album was only sold in small numbers, the band broke up. Butch Trucks stayed with Duane and Greg Allman and became co-founder of the Allman Brothers, Scott Boyer founded the band Cowboy and later released also solo records and Dave Brown joint Santana and later also played in the Band of Boz Scaggs.   Track Listing Side A

Condition: “Near Mint (Excellent)“, Die LP wurde nur sehr wenig gespielt, sieht noch sehr gut aus und hat keine hörbaren oder sichtbaren Kratzer oder sonstige Fehler. Cover “Very Good Plus“ Links oben befindet sich ein Cut-Out Loch. Einige  Farbabschürfungen und einige kleine Risse an den Rändern und am Coverrücken.  Die 4 Ecken sind ganz leicht gestaucht und auf der Vorderseite beginnt sich ein Record Ring geringfügig  abzuzeichnen.   (Siehe Fotos)

 

 

Condition: "Near Mint (Excellent)". The LP has been played very rarely, still looks very good and has no audible or visible scratches or other defects.

Cover "Very Good Plus" On upper the left is a cut-out hole. Some color abrasions and some small cracks at the edges and on the cover spine. The 4 corners are  slightly compressed and a record ring starts to appear lightly on the front. (See photos)
