Description
This is an auction of a rare VINTAGE Jazz LP - The Amazing Bud Powell Vol.1 - BLUE NOTE 5002 MONO with 161 LEXINGTON AVE address on SIDE 2 / WEST 47 63RD NEW YORK 23 address on SIDE 1 - both sides are DEEP GROOVE LABELS with NO copyright symbols and very heavy flat edge vinyl. BUD POWELL with SONNY ROLLINS MAX ROACH ROY HAYNES and FATS NAVARRO. Engineered by RUDY VAN GELDER with "RVG" hand etched in the trailoff of both sides accompanied by the "ear" symbol.
Record is visually graded and audio graded. Side 1 is visually VG+ (west 47 label) with a small amount of light marks and feelable marks at the end of track 2 and beginning of track 3 with some ticks an surface noise PLAY GRADE FOR SIDE 1 IS VG+, Side 2 is visually VG++ (Lexington Ave label) with a small amount of light marks and PLAY GRADE FOR SIDE 2 IS VG++ or better. Cover is viually graded as VG+ - it presents well with NO splits but has slight ring wear at front bottom, slight wear at spine with a few inches of fraying, slight wear on the bottom edge and tiny spot of fraying at the lower right corner tip.
