Description
Here it is, the holy grail of Beatles records!
You are looking at an original mono recording of the Beatles "Yesterday And Today" that is confirmed to be a Butcher Cover! The trained eyes of collectors know what to look for, and the famous "V" of Ringo's collar is visible through the existing cover of this 2nd State recording! We are not comfortable doing our own peel, so if you are looking for one to peel yourself, or to pay to have peeled and framed, this is THE ONE!
The overall condition of this record is G-. The top seam is split, the bottom one is 1/3 split, and the lead edge is over 1/2 split. The vinyl is basically unplayable do to many years of use. We wouldn't even put our worst needle on this record, as it is too destroyed to listen to. There are two names written on the label on Side 2 of this record in ballpoint pen. Side 1 has no writing on it.
One of the photos shows the current cover coming off the original butcher cover. It appears this is from age, and not an attempted peel, and is only coming off the amount shown in the photo. A professional should be able to handle this in a pro-peel anyway. The back of the sleeve has rings from a coffee cup (thank God that's not on the front!) and there is other wear, including the same two names written in red pen on the upper left of this record.
IF YOU ARE BUYING THIS RECORD IT IS TO GET THE FRONT PROFESSIONALLY PEELED, AND THEN FRAMED! There is no point in buying this to listen to. It's is a G- overall album, but a great chance for YOU to own and display one of the most recognized Beatles albums of all time!
Catalog # on upper front right is T2553.
We have cataloged condition, and we will hand over any fraud attempts to eBay and the authorities. We had to do this one other time on a rare bait and switch someone attempted on another Beatles record with us. If you are playing games, go elsewhere. We take this very seriously.
Record will be WELL PACKED in a PROTECTIVE plastic sleeve. We are excited to sell this item to a hardcore fan, and we hope it brings them much joy! Thank you, and good luck!
We have 15+ years in grading vinyl. We grade on a conservative scale, favoring the buyer. Due to the rarity of the items sold each is cataloged to protect us from switching or fraud.
Please ask any and all questions before you bid.
Shipping is $7.00 in the U.S. if you want tracking, and $20.00 outside the U.S. without tracking. Armadillo Music accepts Paypal as payment. We ship items quickly from the U.S. Postal Service. If you are interested in insurance let us know. Tracking outside the U.S. is very expensive. Know this before you buy, as the buyer will be responsible for that if they choose.
We have little feedback, but we are not new to eBay. We operated under the name "armadillomusic" for almost 4 years, and we had aquired over 2000+ positive feedback before that portion of our business closed. We may be starting over, but our commitment to customer service is the same as it has always been.
We leave positive feedback for all parties that leave it for us first. If you have a problem with your purchase, or a question about any of our items, please email us before going through eBay channels to let us know your thoughts. Thank you, and we appreciate your business!
