THE DISC
In the UK, all vinyl records were taxable, with percentage rates changing frequently. The earliest pressings of this disc carry a ZT code which changed to a PT code in November 1962. For convenience, a P was added to the ZT before being stamped into the deadwax to show the current rate. This copy would have been pressed just before the rate changed again in January 1963 and so to comply with the new rate, an MT paper stamp was added to stock at the factory, before being dispatched to retailers. It is remarkable that someone, not only bought this disc with a stamp on it, but that no attempt seems to have been made to remove it, as the stamp itself is in mint condition.

AUDIO - EX+
Crystal clear, undiminished sound quality with absolutely no unwanted intrusions!  It is almost impossible to find an original copy that plays this good.

VISUALLY - EX   The vinyl surfaces have retained all their original deep gloss finish. There are some light lines, caused by careless handling rather than actual needle damage. Although the disc has been played and enjoyed, it has obviously been on decent equipment and generally looked after.
As a matter of interest, this copy carries the correct label information after several previous errors. 'Made In Gt. Britain' is present, the composers credits are perfectly aligned under the song titles and there are no missing brackets, unlike earlier copies.

Genuine original in remarkable condition. There are no seam splits, just age toning/creasing.
