Description
- I test played this, but I think I'm the first to ever hear it by the looks of how glossy and almost completely perfect the vinyl is. This is one of the finest sounding albums I've ever played on my system. Zero noise in quiet parts, not even at beginning of each side. Every song is very warm and vibrant. I felt like the Beach Boys were in my listening room. I understand now why this is considered their masterpiece.
Details: This is an original 1966 Mono first pressing from Jacksonville, Illinois. Confirmed by the "9" in lower right corner on back of album and the matching matrix numbers below.
- Matrix Side 1: T-1-2458-F-25
- Matrix Side 2: T-2-2458-F-17
Grades:
Cover is VG with slight inch or less tear on back on open end where record inserts, slight spine wear yet still legible. Sleeve is VG+ with just a few wrinkles on bottom left, no tears and vibrant otherwise. Vinyl will be shipped in MoFi Archival Sleeve. VInyl is NM with only one 2 inch hair thin paper scuff (only visible in right light) on side two and DNAP. Both sides play Mint. Labels are vibrant with practically no wear and no spindle marks whatsoever. This is top copy. The gloss is a high sheen and the weight is substantial.
