Sealed copy of the 1978 red vinyl limited edition of The Beatles 1962-1966 greatest hits album. Original hype sticker. Excellent condition (see photos - a small slice along the top left side seam as shown on last photo, but otherwise, seal fully intact). A great collectible for the Beatles fan, either remaining sealed or opening and playing a nearly 50-year old album for the first time.
Note that this is NOT the early 1990s "re-re-release" which was digitally remastered, and is easily identified by a barcode...something you didn't find on a 1970s album. Specifically, the catalog number of this record is Capitol SEBX-11842.
Provenance: my father and my two uncles were partners in a Tucson record store from the early 1970s through the early 2010s, and my dad saved a number of collectible records over the years - many of them sealed, like this one. These were all boxed up for decades until about a year ago when I took ownership of them.
