Description

An original 1st press of 'Collection' on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 1G/1G. Stampers 1-OL/3-OL. Please note labels are consistent with 1st press and as a result publishing dates are found over on the left side of the label. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Mono Garrod & Lofthouse cover with flipbacks. Also included is the original generic white patents no inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg+) In great condition and has only seen a light to moderate level of use use. Under close inspection there are few marks one or two starting to approach feelable. But nothing that causes significant issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a VERYGOOD+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are reasonably quiet and the audio comes across with very good clarity. Interference is relatively minor and infrequent. All we detected was a touch of light static in one or two sections and a couple of crackles toward the end of 'Can't Buy Me Love'. It really is a very decent and solid player which will more than satisfy most-folk.
Cover (Vg+) Has been looked after down the years. A nice shiny front with a couple of creases and barely any ageing. The rear is faring well too with just one or two age spots in the odd place - very little really. All flipbacks are nice and secure and edge wear is reasonably light. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) Bit aged and two side splits have been taped up.
