Description

An original 1st mono press of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Stampers 2-AMD/2-RTL. Please note label design is perfectly consistent with 1st press - 'recording 1st published' is mentioned and 'parlophone' in the perimeter text. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono G&L cover with flipbacks. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In great condition and has only seen a light to moderate level of use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Whether it's the low-key numbers or the uptempo ones it's all delivered with authority and aplomb. Interference is pretty much non-existent. We'll do the usual catch-all...do expect a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A very clean and impressive rendition..recommended! 
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with only a couple of thumbnail crease. The rear has escaped the ageing process and we can only spot one small blemish toward the top right corner. All flipbacks are intact secure. Edge wear is very light and the opening edges are still sharpish. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies perfectly flat.
Emitex (Vg+) A bit of ageing, but no splits.
