Description

A genuine stereo from 1968. Matrix 1/1 - 1st cut. Note that the labels mention 'Gramophone' - these copies come from the late-sixties, rather than at 1st release. I should also mention this is a very nice solid pressing - no skimping here at all! The vinyl comes housed in an original G&L stereo cover with the Emitex advertising inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen very light careful use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of very superficial marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. This a great little player and handles upbeat numbers with aplomb and the quiet numbers easily with barely a whiff of background. It's a really nice clean player - throughout. Expect nothing more than a few crackles in  one isolated spot per side. It's an absolute belter and would be hard to match - let alone better. Highly recommended. 
Cover (Ex) Very nice to see this sixties cover looking so well preserved and clean - they don't all look this nice.  A lovely clean and flat looking front with just a few thumbnail creases toward the opening. The rear has escaped most of the ageing process - just a light touch at the opening. Flipbacks are all intact and secure. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) One edge split taped up. Minor ageing.
