This week, I’m parting with some great albums from my collection that just don’t fit my focus any longer. Bid with confidence, I am a record collector as well as a comic book collector - I take pride in accurate grading and caring for my items, and you can rest assured they will be packed for safe transit (that includes removing the record from its sleeve). This particular album will be double boxed, packed, insured and sent Priority Mail, signature required.
I've decided to pare down my collection and focus on only several genres - which means letting go of my Beatles albums, as they are super fun to collect - but not part of what I listen to. So my collection adjustment is your opportunity to get one of the best examples I've seen of a Stereo Butcher in several years of looking. Here's what we've got!
The Beatles Yesterday and Today 3rd State Butcher cover in Stereo. Professionally peeled with certificate, and the original 2nd state peel. Includes a reproduction Capitol Records letter, the original stereo record and inner sleeve. The Butcher cover will be shipped in it's own Mylite2 archival storage bag with a microchamber paper, the other materials will be in another sleeve. All items will be placed in a toploader sleeve for added protection. If you're looking for a top copy, or an amazing example of the most controversial and rare albums of all time - believe me, this one is it. Included is provenance that shows me as the purchaser of the album that has been peeled, from the previous owner of the 2nd state.
The Peel: This peel was performed by Rock and Roll Shop, and a certificate is included showing provenance of the work and chain of custody from the 2nd state owner, peeler and then me (my name is on the certificate, just covered with a piece of paper in the photo). Rock and Roll Shop are arguably the best Butcher peelers in the business - I spent quite some time researching this album and peels to find the right one to purchase.
Sleeve: VG+Please spend a few moments looking at this peel. It is flawless. There are no tears from the peel. There are no creases from the peel. The only two noticeable flaws are a chip out of the URHC and some tiny water staining along the spine (see photos). This is truly an amazing peel (that's why I bought it in the first place).
Peel: I don't know what to call this for a grade, as it's obviously peeled and wrinkled - BUT it's all in one piece, some minor tearing by John's shoe and near the trunk - but not significant enough to take away from the fact it's all one big piece.
Record: VG/VG+Average wear within grade.
Includes original Capitol inner sleeve.
This is NOT a modern reissue - NOT a bootleg, this is the REAL DEAL! A VERY RARE and highly sought after LP in this condition, exceptionally nice and complete..
