Description

An original 1st mono press of BFS on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 3N/3N - very 1st cut. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks with side, and one trail mark on side which is barely feelable - so nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. By and large a very solid player which impresses. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of spots either side. Absolutely nothing invasive or likely to irritate.
Cover (Ex-) These BFS covers are a real pain to find in nice condition, but this example is cut above the rest. Lovely shiny and unaged front which still remains flat. Yes, there are a couple of light creases at the foot, but by and large it looks smart. Ditto the rear - just a couple of thumbnail creases - looking good! The looks great - no issues at all. Edge wear is relatively light for this title and the spine looks good. There's a touch of wear at either end, but the text is all legible..solid! Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
