Description

An original late '69 One-Emi Box pressing of BFS on the Parlophone label. Matrix 1/1. These late sixties pressings are well worth considering as they were still tube-cut like their mid-sixties counterparts. You can obtain some quality audio, every bit the match of those early black and yellow copies, at a fraction of the price. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original stereo gatefold sleeve. Also included is the original sepia toned Emi advertising inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Just a very nice clean rendition from these Beatles classic tracks. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All we could detect were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. Great player..
Cover (Ex-) Has been well cared for down the years. Nice clean front without the usual creasing - just some very light laminate lift over toward the spine. The rear looks good too with just a few light creases and some light ringwear.  The interior looks great with no issues. Edge wear is reasonably light. Whilst all the text on the spine is still legible the spine has flattened [see pics]. Overall the copy still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Little ageing and no writing. Bottom edge has split and has been taped up.
