The vinyl is overall in a Very Good - condition. It has hairline marks and a fair amount scuffs / sleeve removal marks on both sides. There's also some spindle trails / wear too. Despite the appearance, the record plays through with no skips or jumps, no intrusive or rotational ticks either. It just has a near constant crackle, more prominent in the right channel which doesn't intrude too much on the music but it very much is a constant; as the tracks get more compressed / quieter, the crackle stays and it definitely becomes more noticeable in those parts. Sonically this album has never been great in comparison to other Beatles LPs that were pressed at the time but the midrange still manages to shine quite nicely on this pressing and it's still an enjoyable, listenable experience.
Please note: my camera doesn't pick up the condition of the record surfaces as well as I'd like it to. They do show their wear but it's nothing too bad. I've definitely handled worse before.
The original Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover is in a Good + condition. There's some yellowing and age related / storage wear especially on the corners and the openings, please see the photos. The front panel is still relatively clean and presentable but there are some spots of laminate wear and unfortunately the spine text isn't fully readable and the cover's openings have taken a LOT of wear to them with fraying and foxing to be expected. I think that it would grade as Very Good - / Very Good if it weren't for those more major demerits, it still feels nice to hold in the hand and look at and it's still holding together well. There's also some writing on the back panel.
The inner sleeve is a generic paper inner sleeve that unfortunately has seam splits on all sides. I'd recommend replacing it. I'd have done so myself but currently I don't have any spares.
