Description

Beatles Love Me Do / PS Love You R4949. Original second press 45 single released January 1963 on the rare black Parlophone label version.

1N suffix indicating ringo on drums.

J T or inverted K tax code side 2.

Run Out Groove Stampers side1 - 1RH & MP and ZT at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions.

The 1RH and ZT stamper in the run out groove is significant, and may indicate that this copy be the very earliest 2nd pressing. Possibly distributed as a factory sample.

Upper lower case Parlophone on label.

Much more scarce than the first red Parlophone versions released October 1962, as stated by the Rare Record Price Guide.

Not many of these turn up for auction. A must for Beatles vinyl collectors.

Condition

Side 1 is in Very good condition minus. Two light surface marks, no skips or severe noise.

Side 2 is in Very good condition plus. Only light noise during the quieter passages.

So graded as VG/VG+

No warping. No writing on labels. Original push out centre. In original sleeve and plastic outer included.
