MEET THE BEATLES / THE BEATLES
Description
About This Items
- The first pressing was in 1964, but this is a re-release from 1976. It contains 14 songs selected by Hiroyuki Takashima from the 36 songs released by the Beatles at the time. Therefore, the composition is similar to the best album as of the time of its release.
- The jacket is based on the U.S. compilation "Meet the Beatles. The commentary on the back jacket was written by Ichiro Takasaki when it was released, and was replaced by a new commentary written by Yoichi Shibuya when it was re-released in 1976.
- Since its first release, only a monaural version of this album has been available, and there is no stereo version of this album. This is because at the time of its release, real stereo versions of some of the singles were not officially produced, so the entire album had to be released in mono.
- The record is in very good condition at the Japanese collection level.
