+++  THE BEST ORIGINAL I HAVE EVER SEEN+++ THIS ALBUM IS HARD TO FIND IN MONO AS WELL AS STEREO BUT IS FAR RARER AS A STEREO!!

A genuine 'Factory Sample - Not for Sale' sticker is adhered to the side 1 label, making this LP even rarer still ...

 At the time the Beatles became successful, Mike McCartney was working as an apprentice hairdresser. He was also a member of the Liverpool comedy-poetry-music group the Scaffold, which included Roger McGough and John Gorman and had formed in 1962 (the year of the Beatles' first hit). McCartney decided to use a stage name, so as not to appear to be riding his brother's coattails. After first dubbing himself "Mike Blank", he settled on "Mike McGear", "Gear" being the Liverpudlian equivalent of "fab". The band was subsequently signed to Parlophone. Artistes who contributed/played on this album are, Paul McCartney, Jimi Hendrix, John Mayall, Noel Redding, Gary Walker, Dave Mason, Graham Nash, Zoot Money, Paul Samwell-Smith, and Andy Roberts.

    This is an original 1968 UK first issue rare mono LP on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, ‘Sold in UK…’ label text and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’.

  The record labels are in beautiful Mint Minus condition, super clean record labels that show only a couple of light signs of play

ELUSIVE PSYCH MONSTER!!!STUNNING SONGCRAFT!!!

!!!!AN EXTREMELY HARD FIND!!! A few hundred (rumoured to be around 500) were ever pressed of this fantastic psych album. It is hard to understand why this never sold in larger numbers.

In all my years this is only the second time I have come across this RARITY of which only 500 are rumoured to be about.  This one is more desirable still as the vinyl does not appear to have been played very much. Under an intense light there is only one tiny hairline on side 2 .

Sensational sound quality, I have played this through in its entirety and it was a great joy!!! NO skips or jumps. NO clicks or crackle, this is really a stunning heavy glossy jet black vinyl .  Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.

            
 For whatever reason this stunning album, without filler and now rightly regarded as a lost classic, sold zilch!!!

       Vinyl: EX++!! A sensational find!!! I have played this in FULL twice over> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more detailed observation. There are NO jumps NO skips NO sticks. This vinyl has barely been played. There is just one very short hairline!!! This is the ultimate MUSEUM copy that will serve as a very healthy investment for the future!! I am very glad to be able to report that this is a fine slab of vinyl without any problems at all and as such worthy of inclusion of any great psych or prog collection. It has the "KT" tax code embossed on the label.

      Sleeve:  EX++.  This original Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in wonderful condition without any damage. It has the three back flipovers. NO major creases. This one is very close to perfect!!!  I think it will be a very difficult task to find this album at all any time soon, leave alone in this STUNNING condition!!! NO writing, NO tears, NO seam splits etc. Just one tiny thumb crease near the opening.The spine is 100%.  It is extremely hard to find this album at all. Only three have come up for sale in one year. Finding it in this supreme condition is nearly impossible!!!

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Nowadays any Vertigo Swirl is very collectable. There are, however, a select few, not more than a dozen or so that will raise the pulses of collectors around the world. This is one of them!!! This album is impossible to find esp. in this sublime condition!!! One of half a dozen of hardest to find Swirls, probably with "Ben", "Catapilla" and "Tudor Lodge".

 This is  a great and seriously collectable super album!!
