Description

PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT POST TO RUSSIA, ITALY OR SOUTH AMERICA
Original pressing of The Beatles Please Please me on the gold and black label. This is the version with the Northern songs credit.
The matrix numbers on both sides are XEX 421 - 1N and XEX 422 - 1N. There are no tax codes on the labels.
I would grade the vinyl condition as a strong Vg, it does have some marks to the vinyl but none of these are feelable. I have played the record all the way through and the record does not produce any loud clicks or skip or jump. The music plays loud and strong a credit to how well these early discs were cut. There is some light background crackle especially inbetween songs.
The record lays flat on the turntable with no warping.
The labels are in Ex condition with no rips, writing or stickers. Also the spindle holes aren't too worn as is normally the case. Please see pictures.
The original EJ Day sleeve is the correct sleeve for this pressing with the Angus McBean photo credit in the far right hand corner starting after the word songs. Also with the large mono in the top right hand corner.
The sleeve is in overall Vg condition with the main ware to the bottom corners. The front is in great shape with no rips or writing. The rear of the sleeve is slightly discoloured with the odd small red pen mark (please see photo's). All three edges have no seam splits and the opening edges have no rips or feathering from handling.
It comes in an original Emitex inner sleeve which is poly lined. This is in Ex+ condition with no creases, writing, stickers or seam splits just a slight nick around the die-cut hole.
The record will be removed from these sleeves and put in another sleeve for posting.
Good luck in bidding.
