Album 1: Beatles Please Please Me MONO XEX 421-1N/ 422-1N VG+

The Beatles' first UK album was released on 22 March 1963, following the success of the singles Please Please Me and Love Me Do.

Original 4th pressing front-laminated Garrard & Lofthouse credits Angus McBean photo:  Yellow on black Parlophone label, first published 1963. No sold in UK. “The Parlophone Co Ltd - Made in Gt Britain - ZT tax code.” 

Cover:  front in good condition minor scuffing to corners (it is over 50 years old) and edgewear. No writing. Rear cover does have slight staining caused by handling over the years, clear spine text.

Inner sleeve: Original Emitex inner sleeve VG+ no tears, rips or writing, slight crease in corners VG+

Labels: in VG+ condition some light spindle marks. 

Vinyl: heavy duty vinyl has a great shine (see photos) closer inspection shows usual hairline /paper scuffs no more VG+.

Audio: plays beautifully, deep solid clear mono sound VG++. Has faint background static in between some tracks, but it really is ‘faint’ - acceptable for its age and does not affect play or listening pleasure. There are three very light pips (not pops or crackles) at the end of track 5 into the run onto track 6 on side 2. Absolutely no skips, jumps, repeats etc

Vinyl: Yellow on black Parlophone label. Great shine, heavy duty vinyl (see photos) closer inspection shows some (but very few) hairline /paper scuffs absolutely no more - see photos.

Audio: Surerb audio, plays beautifully, deep solid clear mono sound VG++ could almost go Ex- has faint background static in between some tracks, but it is ‘faint’ - acceptable for its age and does not affect play or listening pleasure.  Plays clean, absolutely no skips, jumps, repeats, crackles or pops etc.

Inner sleeve: Original Emitex inner sleeve VG+ no tears, rips or writing, slight creases.
